Whitney is an East Tennessee native and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Maryville College. She received a Masters of Physical Therapy degree in 2001 from the University of Tennessee, Health Science Center.

Whitney joined SUPT in 2012. Her primary focus is manual orthopedic therapy and treating spine and shoulder conditions. She also integrates craniosacral therapy into some of her treatments in order to better treat the whole person. She received her manual therapy certification from Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars in 2010.

Whitney is very busy in her off time with two children who play multiple sports. She enjoys running and has completed the Music City Half-Marathon. She also enjoys working out regularly.

Whitney’s goals as a physical therapist are to use manual therapy techniques to decrease pain and increase mobility. Whitney feels that her most important role in the clinic is being an educator. She teaches appropriate home exercises and postural awareness so that her patients can independently manage their symptoms.
